GSB at London Fashion Week: Justin Cassin and Lovebirds
Two shows, one week, and the difference between a founder's portfolio and a team's call sheet.
The call sheet, not the brochure
There are two kinds of proof in hair education. One is the founder's portfolio — the houses that once hired the person now selling you a course. The other is the call sheet: whose hands were actually backstage this season. This page is the second kind.
Justin Cassin — London Fashion Week 2026
The Global Stylist Blueprint team worked backstage for Justin Cassin at London Fashion Week 2026: JJ Savani, Sid Da Barber, Gecko Trimz and Bailey Bolden, delivering hair for a show headlined by Dejon Noel-Williams — the Love Island star whose runway and campaign work includes Olivia Black and Hyrox.
Lovebirds — the India IYKYK debut
The same week, JJ Savani and Tom Darling worked on the Lovebirds campaign, led by Danilo Giangreco, delivering hair for the brand’s London Fashion Week debut, the collection India IYKYK — headlined by Deepak Gupta, a model whose runway history runs through Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Emporio Armani, Issey Miyake and Stone Island. When a designer makes their London debut, they do not gamble on the hair team. That booking is the reference.
Tom's presence on that team is the programme in one line: a barber who joined the mentorship running shops in the UK, on the Lovebirds call sheet at London Fashion Week eight months later — the same season Professional Beauty India billed him on the HJ Stage in Mumbai.
Why this is on the site
The mentorship teaches positioning; the in-person masterclasses teach advanced technical work on live models. Fashion Week is where both meet — session finishing, sectioning for movement under runway lighting, and the backstage discipline no classroom simulates. It is also the outcome the whole programme points at: not watching the founder work a show, but working it.
The founder’s credits are on this site too — Zegna at Dubai Fashion Week, GQ award winners, Wimbledon. But the measure of an education business is not what the educator once did. It is where the team stood this season.
