Workshops, trade-show stages and Fashion Week backstage work, internationally. Entry to every one of them is included in the mentorship fee. Travel and accommodation are yours; entry is not.
Dates, venues and who is on stage are listed below so anyone can check them against the organisers’ own programmes. Past events stay on this page rather than disappearing.

Platform and Main Stages
Three GSB students demonstrated and educated across one weekend: Tom Darling (UK), Brendon Rice (Malta) — the first Maltese hairstylist to demonstrate and educate on the Platform Stage — and Ólavur Davidsen (Faroe Islands), the first Faroese hairstylist selected for the MainStage. JJ Savani judged the Modern Barber Challenge.
Two different kinds of event
The hands-on masterclasses are technical. Advanced cutting, clipper work, sectioning to build movement and shape, session and editorial finishing — on live models, not mannequin heads. Advanced tier only: they assume you can already cut and work on everything after that. Malta, Cyprus and India so far. More on what is actually taught.
The stages and Fashion Weeks are the opposite. Students demonstrate, educate, or assist backstage on live sets — usually the first time their name sits on a programme next to people they have followed for years. Access is milestone-gated rather than automatic.
Included, not extra
There is no separate charge for events, no tiering and no upsell at the door. If you want to attend without joining the mentorship, some events are open and some are not, depending on the host — email info@jjsavani.com and we will tell you which.
