Barber mentorship programme The Global Stylist Blueprint named Official Education Partner of COCCO Hair Pro
The Global Stylist Blueprint (GSB), the UK barber mentorship programme founded by international session stylist and educator JJ Savani, has been named Official Education Partner of professional tools brand COCCO Hair Pro. The barber and hairstylist mentorship will teach the full COCCO range, and open a pathway for its artists to represent the brand on stages and backstage worldwide.

What the partnership means for the barber mentorship
GSB mentors barbers, hairstylists and make-up artists who want to move from the salon chair into session, editorial and fashion week work. It combines one-to-one online mentorship with hands-on advanced workshops in Malta, Cyprus and India. Under the partnership, COCCO’s full range of clippers, trimmers, blades, dryers, irons and shears will be taught inside the programme, supported by a dedicated COCCO product module on the GSB learning platform, from Digital Gap™ blades to the Cocco Max dryer.
At its centre is the COCCO Pathway: a route for GSB artists who stand out to go on to represent COCCO at shows, workshops and backstage. It builds on a link already in place. GSB mentee Brendon Rice, a barber from Malta, was recently named global ambassador for COCCO Hair Pro Malta. He appeared alongside fellow GSB artists Tom Darling and Ólavur Davidsen at Professional Beauty India in Delhi this June, as reported by Modern Barber.
The partnership will be seen first backstage, with JJ Savani using the COCCO range on his session work at a London show on 30 October.
What COCCO said
Dean Perry, General Manager UK & Ireland at COCCO Hair Pro, said:
“We are absolutely delighted and proud to be partnering with The Global Stylist Blueprint and JJ Savani. Education is a core belief and responsibility of COCCO, and this partnership gives us an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively to educate, inspire and develop the next generation of talent within our wonderful industry.”
“JJ’s vision, values and passion for nurturing emerging talent strongly align with our own beliefs. We see this as much more than a partnership; it’s an opportunity to help create meaningful opportunities for aspiring artists, support their development and give them the tools and knowledge to build successful careers. We look forward to building a long and successful relationship with JJ and the GSB team.”
What JJ Savani said
“Most talented barbers never get seen. Not because they aren’t good enough, but because nobody showed them how the industry actually works. That’s what our barber mentorship exists to fix. Partnering with COCCO means our artists now train on the tools they’ll use at the highest level, and have a real route to the stages and rooms where careers are made.”
“What drew me to COCCO is that they care about the person in the chair as much as the performance of the tool. That matches everything we teach. A great haircut isn’t just technique. It’s how the client feels when they leave.”
“Brendon is proof of what’s possible. He started with us as a barber in Malta, and he now represents COCCO globally. He won’t be the last.”
